Advertising is switched on across the whole site, including classroom sessions. Ads are served by Google AdSense. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, consent is collected through Google's certified consent message (or our own banner if Google's message does not appear). Until you consent there, Google only shows limited or non-personalised ads, without advertising cookies for personalisation. Elsewhere, ads may be personalised by default; you can turn this off in Cookie settings.
Google Analytics is optional and only loads after you actively consent to analytics. It never loads on classroom pages, in sessions joined with a room code, or in classroom quizzes — even if you have consented.
Rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Classroom Mode
Participants should not enter real names, email addresses, school names, class names, or other identifying information. A short anonymous nickname is enough.
Access uses a random room code.
Teachers or facilitators only see aggregated group results, not individual answers.
Classroom dashboards do not reveal results until at least three participants have submitted answers. This is enforced on the server.
Classroom sessions are automatically deleted after 30 days (or sooner if technically possible).
Classroom sessions show ads. In classroom context these ads are always non-personalised, never used for remarketing and no profiling or retargeting is used — the visitor's own choice cannot override this. Google Analytics is never loaded in classroom context.
Classroom Mode is designed for group use while minimizing personal information. In Classroom Mode:
